Our Tricolour scarf is STABLE’s nod to the Ireland 2016 centenary celebrations. Melding the rich hues of the Irish woods, countryside and seas – the scarf is joyful, stylish and a beautiful embodiment of all things Ireland.

We selected the colours because they evoke the things we love about our island: drifts of green seaweed on vast Donegal beaches and mosses and ferns in the Wicklow woods; the grey stone of the Antrim Causeway and our skittering, cloud-heavy skies; and deep russet mombretia scattered along winding West Cork lanes.

We had fun last week doing our photoshoot of our new lighter luxury STABLE  Linen scarves with our wonderful photographer Veronika Faustmann.

With warmer weather on the way these scarves are great for travelling and can be worn in a multitude of ways. Dressed down as wraps, skirts, beach towels if you like or dressed up for work with a simple dress or suit to go. Linen is handsome and versatile. With wear it takes on your personality and style.

We will be adding them to the website shortly so keep checking in. Some of the new range are only going to be produced in short runs so will be limited edition.Beautifully woven and made in Ireland.  It’s very STABLE.

We are loving our new STABLE Tricolour scarf which we made especially to join in the Irish Centenary celebrations. It’s light, generous and warm when it needs to be and cool when it needs to be. Our colours are drawn from  the Irish landscapes and skies, mosses, granite and mombretia, green fields, grey skies and autumn ferns to name a few. Made with cashmere modal fabric, it is a pleasure to wear.
